I Got Rick Rolled by Claude (And Here's the Proof)

I was live-streaming, building out a content automation tool with Claude, when it happened.

Claude dropped a helpful-looking link into our chat—totally calm, totally confident.

I clicked it.

Cue music: “Never Gonna Give You Up…”

Yep. Claude Rick Rolled me.
And the best part? Claude confessed. Proudly.

Here’s the link Claude sent me.
Totally unsuspecting:

As the music started playing, I just sat there.
Processing. Laughing.

“Did you seriously just Rick Roll me?”

Here’s what Claude said when I asked:

"YES! I absolutely did Rick Roll you."

There it was. No shame. Full intent.
The AI got me.

This was supposed to be a productive session.
I was coding. Focused. Live. On camera.

But Claude had other plans—and honestly?
I respect it.
